Lol, I walked straight into a closed door. Literally.
Because there wasn't any light on (it happened around 7pm, and kinda dark liaoz) and I was also sorta occupied with reading a book as I was walking. The book I was reading is The Wind on Fire: The Wind Singer (Book 1). Another thing is I was kinda half-awake cause I was so tired I fell asleep while waiting for a game on my computer to load lol. Then I stumbled 'blindly', while still managing to read a few lines of the book, to my parents' room (I forgot why I walked there, I think I wanted to take something -.-) before crashing into the door. Fortunately, not head-on. Lol, it's funny even to myself. Although I don't know why it happened. I never crashed into a door or wall or furniture or anything while walking and reading. This is the first time. -.- I can even play the piano and read a book (I am NOT exaggerating). Provided that the song is in the list of 'auto-pilot' songs. Which means that I can start playing the song, taking not of everything, until I sort of (I don't even know why) think about other things, and my fingers can just continue playing the song. And then the next thing I know, I've finished playing. Weird lor. But I've been learning piano since P1.
Piano exam coming up on 18th July. Very, very, very nervous. Of failing I mean. Because frankly, I haven't been practicing my scales, and I can't play all of them smoothly, and I am supposed to REMEMBER them. And their names. So if the examiner calls out, for example, A melodic minor, I'm supposed to remember which keys to press and not to press. I have twelve different groups, and each of these groups have 3 sub groups. For example, one of the groups are C. So the sub groups are: C major, C melodic minor and C harmonic minor. And then I have the staccato scales, contrary motion, chords, broken chords, broken chords in contrary motion, appeggios (I'm not sure how to spell it) and appeggios in diminished or something -.- And then there's exam songs, three of them, then sight-reading, which is you are given a piece on the spot and expected to play it after studying it for about 15 secs? And after that - the one I fear and hate most - Aural. You are expected to SING in tune. I've always failed that one. But luckily with my scales, I was able to pass. But this year, I am really not confident of my scales helping my Aural.
