OH MY HEAVENS...

I actually speechless...with relieve, gladness and well...a little bit of disappointment.

Because I PASSED MY PIANO GRADE 6 PRACTICAL!!!

Well, I was relieved because I was scared that I might fail...I kept stumbling at the scales and my aural was never good. Usually, it was the scales which pulled me up. I felt glad because of the same thing.

I felt disappointed because I WAS JUST 2 MARKS AWAY FROM A MERIT. 2. TWO. TWO.

Oh well. Here's what's written on the examination mark form:

A3 (the number of the song):
This moved along at an appropriate tempo and with some neat [something, can't read what the word is]. There were a few lapses in rhythmic conduct and a brief hiatus was present. However, this did have some stylish light and shade.
Marks: 24 (Full marks 30, passing mark 20 (did I mention that I got 29 for my grade 5 A3? I dropped by a lot =( ))

B1:
A flowing account was evident and it moved along quite well, if some blurred pedalling and small slips in the semiquaver patterns. Despite the odd misplaced accent, it had some stylish moments. (I noticed the examiner likes to use the word stylish)
Marks: 24 (Full marks 30, passing mark 20)

C1:
[Something] and marked at the outset, this moved at a good pace and with some dynamic colour. There was just a little unsteadiness in this [something] account.
Marks: 26 (Full marks 30, passing mark 20)

Scales and Arpeggios:
Scales were prompt in response at first. F# harmonic minor had a few re-starts and stumbles, as did the C minor contrary. Arpeggios were ready and shaped. Only small slips.
Marks: 16 (Full marks 24, passing mark 14 (I'm really disappointed with my scales, because I usually scored 19 and above in scales and arpeggios.))

Sight reading:
A little hesitant, but this was quite a good reading. Only the odd note slip.
Marks: 17 (Full marks 21, passing mark 14)

Aural Tests:
A had a few pitch slips; errors in B. C was correct; Di/ii were incorrect.
Marks: 11 (Full marks 18, passing mark 12 (contrary to feeling disappointed, I'm actually pretty happy with this. Cause I always sucked at Aural. Cause you have to sing for part A and B.)

Additional comments:
A strong pass mark: Well done! Aim for a little more security in the aural tests next.

Total: 118 (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
