There will be absolutely no going back once I've start down that path. Part of me, the part that seeks revenge, wants to rush down that path immediately. The other part, the more sensible one, hesitates: should it walk the path that is straight and clearly marked out, or turn to the other path, which is shrouded in mystery about what will happen in the future? If I choose the straight path, I will be hurt. If I choose the second path, first of all, my used-to-be friends will be hurt. And on that path, if I ever decide to return to the straight one, the friends I make on the second path will be hurt when I backtrack. I know some of you will be wondering, since it's used-to-be friends, meaning that we are no longer friends, then I shouldn't care about them. But they are firmly etched on that straight path. The revengeful part of me wants to hurt them; the sensible part of me doesn't want to hurt anyone. I only have four more days. After those four days, the decision must be made: the straight path, or the second path.
