BACK FROM COMBINED CLUBS AND SOCIETIES CAMP!! Yesterday =P

My group got second among the 10 groups there!! Haha, the telematch pulled our score up.

Didn't take any pictures lol, even though phone was allowed in the camp. Cause the teachers say unless we got their permission, we aren't allowed to take out our handphones =(

And okay, I know that I'm no longer a member of C&S anymore, but I'm a very active CIP volunteer XD So I went to represent the library club.

DAY 1:

Early in the morning went to school for freestyle training. I was late, as usual. Dismissed at around 11.30 - 12, went for lunch with Valerie. After that we went to foyer to gather. The supposedly to report time was 12.30, but dragged until 1+. Then we went to our bunks to put our stuff. Library Club and Chess Club shared one classroom (2/3), but only got one girl from Chess Club lol. Then we went to AVA room to be separated into groups.
And...I was put into a group that consisted of no one I knew. So I just talk to one sec 1 girl sitting behind me lor. From 1/3, Art Club. By the way, I was in group 6.
After that was ice-breaking. Our original leader was Jasmine, but then all the leaders were called to the teacher for some briefing, so she passed the papers to the person sitting at the front, which is a sec 1 guy, also from 1/3. Then we went for ice-breaking games!
Got about 6 stations total. First, my group went to bus bay to play human chain (which was the game staff Kaiser made us play last year during the holidays), then outside of the hall to play river crossing (my group did it in 7 minutes flat, which is a good record), then to the canteen to play line-up (uh, it's getting boring you know...), then to heritage gallery to play duck and goose (okay, pointless game), basketball court to play uh, what else, basketball, then back to outside of the hall to play spider web, which is like we have to get three people through three different holes to the other side... -.- Then we went back to AVA room. Lol, my group did okay, somewhere in the middle in the positioning.
After that the teachers sent us back to our bunks to take our water bottles and a pen, cause we were supposed to go to Bishan Park for our Amazing Race next. So we went back, got our things and went to canteen for our tea break. Wafers and cold drinks! Supposed to gather at foyer in 30 minutes, so I went back to bunk to put my mug back, then on the way to foyer, I saw Sherman looking down from outside the library and pointing his camera at just about everyone walking past. So I left my stuff with Wei Fang (the sec 1 girl) and snuck up to the third floor. He saw me just when I was a metre away from him, so he started backing away. I chased him all the way down to the first floor before catching him. And you guys know what happened next...all the way until foyer...then I let go lah. Don't bully the evil orange so much =P
Went to Bishan Park, started our Amazing Race...unluckily for my group, there was no sec 3 or 4 with us, so we had to go around blindly, searching for the place lor. And unluckily for my group (again), our stations were situated on each end of the park CONSECUETIVELY. Meaning that our first station was on one end, the second on the other end, the third on the same first end and so on. T.T Our third last station was pretty fun, but painful -.- We were supposed to fill up a 1.5 litre water bottle within 10 minutes using our hands, mouth or socks. That's the simple part. The hard (and painful) part was that we had to walk across the sharp stones thingy where people go to boost the blood flow or whatever from the pails of water to the bottle. After some time of carrying the water with our hands, three of my group members, me included, decided to use our mouth lol. But we managed to do it within the time limit. GOOD TEAMWORK EVERYONE!!

And did I mention that there were only 7 people at that time, and one was sick so he couldn't do the station? =P

We came in second for the race, so our score was raised a bit higher. Then we went for our dinner, until 8.30, where we gathered at the AVA room for our Talent Time. Some of the sec 3s and 4s in my group came back to help us with it. The theme was Wiring HeARTlands. I suggested the idea of two clubs fighting to perform in a slot lol, so the seniors worked on the idea of dance club and drama club fighting (verbally) for a slot in the assembly program. FUN SIA! In the end, the teacher said that both clubs will perform together (typical ending). Then our seniors put up a dance and drama performance at the end =P

After Talent Time the teacher gave us 10 minutes to go back to our bunks and get our camp booklet, pen, mug (for supper during movie screening) and torchlight. Those who wanted to shower had 15 minutes. Lol, me, Huilin, Jia Qi and someone else (sorry, I forgot who) went to the staff bathroom to bathe XD. Took turns lah, of course -.- Then halfway while Jia Qi was inside, MRS QUEK CAME BY. LOL.
Then we went to AVA room for the movie screening. Wafers again, for supper. But the teachers also provided seaweed and potato chips. Supposed to watch the movie the Piano Forest, but no subtitles lol. Sad. So movie screening was canceled. Then we all went back to our bunks and slept. The end for the first day...

Okay, post until here first. Need to go eat lunch now cause later got freestyle training.
