I finally decided to try using GIMP again (those who read my blog posts about it a couple of years ago know why I don’t like it) and created this banner for WC(B). I used the scenes from The Darkest Hour and A Dangerous Path. Not sure if the sparks at the sides are a bit too extra. But anyway, the things are almost similar to Photoshop, just that not as many things. I remade one avater.
=D I like to use sparks as they make a very nice effect. Just like how Moonclaw likes to use the airbrush cause they have a nice effect.
Planning to do a little animation. If that works out well, I’ll be working on the storyline I already have.
Animation Software reviews
For those who are interested in doing animation I recommend Pencil, though most of the images you upload have to be bitmap, cause that’s the only one the software can read. Or you can choose to draw on the software itself. It’s the best for me so far.
The first software I tried was Creatoon. Not sure how it’s like because it wouldn’t even open for me. From what I heard you have to unlock it or something, but the problem for me is that the main software wouldn’t even open long enough to ask for the unlocking file.
I strongly discourage Blender, cause it’s really confusing. It’s more like those kind of software those professionals use. The interface is very complicated, but that’s to be expected since it’s 3D. I tried learning about it for an hour, then gave up.
