I started watching Sungkyunkwan Scandal a few weeks ago, but not from the start lol. It’s ended T.T

I was reading through the recaps of SKKS on Dramabeans because I was bored, and decided that the story was actually quite good. But the recap stopped at episode 13, so I went to watch episode 14.

Throughout the recaps I was already deviating towards Moon Jaeshin because
1) He’s the typical second lead that everyone break their heart over;
2) He’s just so protective and cute (in his actions) that it’s hard not to like him;
3) He’s willing to go to any extent to protect the person he loves, even giving up a 10 year revenge on the people who killed his brother;
4) There just isn’t any flaw to him as there is to most second leads.

Hm, so Jaeshin likes Kim Yoonhee, who is a girl disguised as a boy because she needs to earn money for her family and to buy medicine for her sick brother. But Yoonhee (who takes on her brother’s name Yoonshik) likes Lee Sunjoon (played by Micky of JYJ/DBSK) who likes her back as well. Other than the love triangle, there’s a fourth person in the group, Gu Yong Ha, who acts all the time like he’s in love with Jaeshin.

I just finished watching episode 19, and the scene when Jaeshin was begging for his father to save Sunjoon was really sad. Actually, he’s not doing it just for Yoonhee, whom he knows likes Sunjoon, but for himself as well, because he knew he wronged Sunjoon in the past and he never really got to know him due to him having always believed that Sunjoon’s political side caused the death of his brother (it was his political side, but that was before Jaeshin found out that it was a Minister Ha that started it and Sunjoon’s father did not cause it). And also when he said he did not want another reason to hate his father again because hating him for the past 10 years had been hell, yeah, that made me tear up.

Confusing? Cause you must know the whole story to understand it.

Episode 20 should be subbed by tomorrow I guess…once I’m done watching it, it’ll really be the end T.T I want more Moon Jaeshin!!
